TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

Would you like to become an Interpreter or a Translator?
Free training (for Islington residents) is available through Islington Language Service

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are fluent in English
  • Are interested in registering as self-employed (after completing the training)
  • Speak one of the following languages fluently: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Farsi, Greek, Kurdish, Somali, Tigrinian and Turkish. Other languages are welcome, though subject to budget and availability.

 

COMMUNITY HEALTH
INTERPRETING COURSE 

The Language Services at FinFuture, in partnership with Camden PCT is offering a 16-week course (Thursdays) 1 day a week from 10:000 to 15.00, which is accredited by Open College Network Region (OLCNR). 

Start Date: 28th September 06 to 25th January 07 -  16 meetings

Compulsory pre-assessment day*: 7th September at 10.30 – 13:30

Deadline for compleeted application: 15th August

  • On this day we will aim to give you more information regarding the course and you will have a short interview.  This will form part of the selection process for the course.
