About Us

FinFuture is a membership organisation with members recruited from local residents, community groups and businesses. At our Annual General Meetings members vote for representatives from these groups to go on to our Board. FinFuture is a community–led organisation.

What were we created to do?

  1. RepresentFinsburyPark and lobby on its behalf
  2. Ensure services delivered by statutory bodies i.e. Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts and Police are co-ordinated across the area
  3. Identify gaps in services and work with partners to find resources to meet local needs  

Services we currently deliver

  1. Business Support (via FinsburyPark Business Forum)
  2. Office space and room hire in FinSpace
  3. Islington Language Service
  4. Safer Town Centres
  5. Streetscene Management

How we work with the community

  • Recruitment of members on an ongoing basis
  • Recruitment of volunteers on an ongoing basis
  • Communication through a  quarterly newsletter and website
  • Consultation on our activities i.e. Blackstock Road Strategy
  • Organising events i.e. participating in the  annual FinFest festival
